As of June 14th, 2010, experienced sailors can challenge the Skipper B Sailing Course at Mulberry
Cove Marina for free.
Your course challenge begins with an interview with the Marina Manager or a certified NJYC
Instructor to determine your level of experience, and concludes with a 1 hour practical sailing check out in the Flying Scot
with an Instructor from NJYC. You must successfully complete both elements of the course challenge to receive your
Flying Scot Check Out Card.
This card allows you to rent Flying Scot sailboats without attending the complete Skipper
B course. This is a savings of $150 for individuals who have already gained sailing experience in small boats.
Get your check out now while there is still tons of summer left, and rent the Flying Scots often. More usage means
more new equipment for the Sailing Program!
